With all the things going on in the world at this time it is so easy to forget who we are and who we represent.

I believe that it is in the worst of times when God expects us to step up and forward to represent a shining light on the darkest of days. It is so easy to join in with the hot topics and to follow along with popular opinion. I would urge us as Apostolics to remember that God called us out to be separate and different than the world around us.

2 Corinthians 6:17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

I was instructed as a young man to investigate any matter before voicing an opinion. Look at all sides and form an educated conclusion no matter what was being voiced around me. We have to consider that even those we respect can be wrong or their judgement clouded by a variety of issues.

I believe this scripture is very relevant in this topic.

Ecclesiastes 12:13: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Our duty is clear in good times and bad times. Hear the whole matter front to end, it usually turns out differently than it appeared at the start of the situation. Support one another as children of God. Refrain from tearing each other down to build yourself up. Love one another, encourage one another. Let's carry each other through this time of need and anticipate what God is going to do at the end of the day.

God bless you. I love you and pray that God will keep you in truth and hope.

As I wrote the title, "God is so good to me", my mind went back to a time when times were bad. My Dad would force a smile and say "God is so good". No matter what was going on, dad would remind himself and our family that God is still good.

Today as we sit in our homes, barred from going to the church house, some losing their jobs and others working in unsafe and uncertain conditions, my thoughts once again turn to that phrase "God is so good to me". It's a phrase that reminds me of times past when God stepped in and showed out in my times of need. Will this time be any different? I don't believe so.

You see he made me a promise. He said in

Hebrews 13:5, "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."

and in

Hebrews 13:6, "So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me."

When faced with disease, poverty, sickness or distress, I look back on those words of my father and say to my problem "God is so good to me". With God as my helper, what do I have to fear? Lift your face to heaven and proclaim the goodness of Jesus. Put your problem on notice that no matter what comes your way, the goodness of God will shine through and victory will be yours.

God bless you all
